






Sarah Birtwistle is the founder and Creative Director of Onethirdlab, a creative agency specialized in social media and digital marketing. She is a Co-organizer of the Diner en Blanc events in Montreal, Paris and New York. With 15+ years of event organization, marketing and design experience, Sarah brings an area of expertise which the Foundation currently lacks. Passionate about giving back, she has regularly volunteered at Bread and Beyond for the past two years in addition to several other organizations, including Geordie Productions and the Greenfield Park International School.

Marie-Astrid Dubant is Chief Advancement Officer at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA). A seasoned philanthropic leader with over 15 years of experience, she has built, scaled, and transformed advancement and fundraising organizations across Canada. She is the founder of the YWCA Québec Foundation, led national fundraising efforts at Alpha Canada, and created the philanthropy and strategic partnerships department at TFO Media Group from the ground up. Known for her ability to align mission, governance, and revenue, she has consistently delivered strong growth through major gifts, partnerships, and innovative donor engagement strategies. Marie-Astrid holds the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation and a certificate from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

Joe is a finance professional. Over his career, he has worked in portfolio management as well as Sales and trading in Montreal. Implicated in various charities around homelessness, he has developed a deep passion for helping out the one in need and putting in place mechanism to end homelessness. Joe now acts as the Chief Investment Officer of a private investment company in Montreal

Chad Lubelsky is the Executive Director at Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom - Canada's oldest progressive synagogue. Previously he was VP, Strategy and Impact at Volunteer Canada, Program Director at the McConnell Foundation, Executive Director at Santropol Roulant, developed leadership & community engagement programs for the Millennium Scholarship Foundation, and managed internet rights advocacy for the Association for Progressive Communications. An active volunteer, Chad regularly delivers meals on wheels and is the outgoing Chair of the Board at Open North. Chad has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Concordia University, and Masters degrees in leadership from Royal Roads University and in communications from San Francisco State University.

Janice was a founding Board member of Bread and Beyond, supporting and encouraging its mission and development from day one. A member of the Barreau du Quebec since 1987, Janice has been practicing corporate/commercial and business law for over 30 years. She is currently a member of the Governance Committee of the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation and has previously served on the Board of several non-profit organizations.

Viviene is a business strategy consultant with a background in medicine and entrepreneurship. She has worked with several non-profit organisations and she uses that experience along with her expertise in strategy to help guide Bread and Beyond towards achieving their mission and vision.

Catherine is a dietitian with a background in food security. She has managed the food services at Old Brewery Mission for over 4 years. She brings a rich experience and a current ‘on the ground’ knowledge of the challenges and needs associated with food services in the homeless sector on Montreal.
