Find out the items currently needed by local shelters.
General guidelines
- Please do not use shelters as a place to dump your unwanted items
- We encourage people to find out what the shelters current needs are before donating items.
- If you wouldn’t eat it/ use it / wear it yourself, please do not donate it.
- If it is torn, stained, ripped or chipped please do not donate it
- Please wash and fold all items before donating.
- Please do not donate used socks or underwear- it’s just not nice!
How to use the NeedSeeker
- Prepare a list of items you intend to donate.
- Type these items into the search bar to find shelters in need.
- Click on a shelter's profile to view their current needs in detail.
- Find the shelter's location and drop off your donation items.
